Job summary

Rehab at Scottsdale Village Square is seeking a PRN Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Phoenix, AZ team. The role requires 1 year of PTA experience and provides skilled therapy under a Registered Physical Therapist with opportunities to contribute to resident care plans.

You will measure motor function, track progress, and collaborate with nursing staff to deliver compassionate, ethical, and resident-centered care in a warm senior-living environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year PTA experience.
• Ability to work under supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist.
• Experience measuring and recording motor function.
• Ability to observe and document progress.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist.
• Responds to requests for service by relaying information and referral to Registered Physical Therapist.
• Implements and modifies the patient’s physical therapy plan of treatment with RPT supervision
• Measuring & recording residents motor function, strength and muscle performance
• Monitors patient responses to treatments and modifies it during treatment sessions as necessary.
• Observe residents and write progress reports.
