Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to work one-on-one with patients in their homes, helping them regain strength and independence in daily activities. You will support the plan of care under a supervising physical therapist and ensure high-quality, compassionate care in a home health setting.

The ideal candidate holds a PTA license, an accredited PTA degree, CPR, and a TB screen, with at least one year of home health experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current license to practice as a PTA in the state of practice.
• Current CPR, TB screening, Hepatitis consent/declination.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one PTA services in patients' homes.
• Help patients gain strength and independence for activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with supervising physical therapist to develop and modify treatment plans.

Minimum Qualifications

• A Bachelor/Associate Degree from an accredited Assistant school of Physical Therapy
