Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Hingham, MA is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our patient-centered team. You will assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists and provide direct care, including therapeutic exercises and manual therapy, in various settings.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools, therapy equipment and EHR systems; able to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Monitor and document patient progress and educate patients and families on protocols.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other staff to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
