Key Rehab is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in the Columbus/Frontenac, KS area within a skilled nursing facility. The PTA will implement care plans and monitor patient progress under the supervision of a Physical Therapist while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to meet individual goals.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited PTA program diploma and an active PTA license, with strong communication and geriatric care skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Key Rehab, you will:

• Implement Care Plans: Execute the patient care plan developed by the Physical Therapist (PT), ensuring adherence to established protocols.
• Advance Patient Progress: Facilitate patient advancement through their treatment plan, making adjustments as directed by the PT to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate and enhance patient care, ensuring the achievement of individual goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Accredited Education: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active Licensure: Current PTA license in the state of practice.
• Ethical Compliance: Adherence to Key Rehab’s Code of Ethical Conduct, as well as state and federal regulations.

• Strong Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to efficiently manage tasks and address challenges with effective solutions.
