Job summary

The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in a full- or part-time capacity. The PTA will collaborate with Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality therapy and help residents improve mobility, strength, independence and overall wellbeing.

Applicants must hold an active Florida PTA license and be comfortable working in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in interdisciplinary team.
• Resident-focused and dependable.
• Strong organizational/documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to residents
• Monitor resident progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Accurately document treatments and resident responses in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
• Assist residents with gait training, transfer training, balance activities, and strengthening exercises
• Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals and outcomes
• Educate residents and families regarding therapy programs and exercises as directed
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures

The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work closely with Physical Therapists to provide high-quality therapy services that help residents improve mobility, strength, independence, and overall quality of life.
