Wesley Rehabilitation Center in Wichita, KS is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patient recovery under the supervision of licensed physical therapists. This PRN role involves providing hands-on therapy, documenting progress, and contributing to individualized treatment plans.
The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited PTA program with current PTA license and BLS certification, capable of effective communication with patients and the health care team.

Physical therapy assistants, sometimes called PTAs, and physical therapist aide’s work under the direction and supervision of physical therapists. They help patients who are recovering from injuries and illnesses to regain movement and manage pain. Under the direction and supervision of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions. They record patients’ progress and report the results of each treatment to the physical therapist.
