Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for outpatient PRN float roles across Southwestern Pennsylvania, including Uniontown and surrounding clinics. The PTA will work under a licensed PT, delivering outpatient care and coordinating with clinic teams.

Ideal candidates hold PTA licensure (or license in process) with CAPTE certification and CPR. The role offers flexible PRN weekday coverage and aligns with clinicians’ work-life balance goals.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed PTA or license in process.
• CAPTE certification required for PTA practice.
• CPR certification is required or in place.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Deliver high-quality outpatient physical therapy services per policy.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients and staff.

Education

College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program

Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE

Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)

Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient PRN Float

Location: 104 Delaware Ave Uniontown PA 15401

Schedule: PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri)

Compensation:$20.00 - $27.00/hour, based on experience

Join our dynamic outpatient rehabilitation team as aPRN Physical Therapist Assistant with the opportunity to supportmultiple clinic locations throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania, includingMasontown, Connellsville, West Newton, Washington, Monongahela, California, Waynesburg, and Uniontown.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
