Job summary

Pine Acres Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Lexington, NC is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide quality, hands-on care in a skilled nursing setting. This PRN role supports a resident-centered rehab team and helps residents achieve therapy goals.

As a PTA, you will follow treatment plans, deliver individual and group therapy, and collaborate with the therapy team, nursing staff, and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current state licensure as a PTA.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist residents.
• Strong teamwork and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Provide one-on-one and group therapy to residents
• Track daily notes, treatment progress, and billing
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education
• Communicate with therapy team, nursing, and families

Pine Acres Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide quality, hands-on care and help our residents achieve their therapy goals in a skilled nursing setting. As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Pine Acres, you will have the opportunity to work in a resident-centered environment, partner with a dedicated rehabilitation team, and make a daily impact in the lives of our residents.

Position Details:

• Status: PRN

• Shift: Day shift preferred (flexibility may be available)

• Setting: Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility

Responsibilities:

• Follow treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist

• Provide one-on-one and group therapy to residents

• Track daily notes, treatment progress, and billing

• Assist with discharge planning and patient education

• Communicate with therapy team, nursing, and families

• Participate in care meetings and facility initiatives

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program

• Current state licensure as a PTA

• Prior LTC/SNF experience is a plus, but not required

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist residents as needed
