Job summary

Select Physical Therapy in Huntersville and Salisbury is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for outpatient PRN coverage. The role delivers high-quality care under supervision, with a flexible weekday schedule that aligns with our coverage needs and the PTA’s availability.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited PTA program, has passed the CAPTE national examination, holds a valid PTA license (or is in process), and maintains CPR certification.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Schedule: PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri)

Compensation:$35.00/hour

We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This role is perfect for a licensed PTA with outpatient experience who values work-life balance. We’ll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you. We are seeking PRN assistance in our Huntersville and Salisbury outpatient centers.
