NovaCare Rehabilitation in Altoona, PA is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for outpatient orthopedics. The role offers weekday PRN scheduling, pay range $25.00-$30.00 per hour, and a per diem arrangement based on experience.

Responsibilities include delivering PT services under a licensed therapist and maintaining client relations across centers. Eligible candidates hold an accredited PTA program graduate status and a CAPTE licensure (or in process) with CPR certification.

Competenze

• PTA must be licensed or actively pursuing licensure in the state (CAPTE).
• CPR certification required.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred but not required.

Overview

Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient PRN

Location:

169 Lakemont Park Blvd Altoona PA 16602

Schedule:

PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri)

Compensation:

$25.00 - $30.00/hour, pending experience

We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team.This role is perfect for a licensed PTA with outpatient experience who values work-life balance. We’ll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTEValid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
