Renewal Rehab in Chicago, IL seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for a per diem role in long-term care settings. You will provide PTAs under supervision, assist with patient selection, and coordinate care with the supervising PT, while ensuring regulatory documentation and appropriate orders are maintained.

Qualifications

• Must have a PTA license in the state of practice.
• Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited PTA program is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state guidelines.
• Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral.
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all physician orders are obtained and up to date.
