Select Medical in Madison, CT is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant on a part-time basis. You will provide patient care under a licensed PT, implement PT services, and maintain strong patient and center relationships. Schedule is Monday through Friday with PRN opportunities.

The team emphasizes exceptional patient experience and outcomes across ages and abilities in outpatient orthopedic care. CPR certification is required and CT licensure must be valid.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed the CAPTE national examination for PTAs.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
