Job summary

NovaCare in Owings Mills, MD is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This role is ideal for a licensed PTA with outpatient experience and a strong work-life balance. We offer flexible scheduling aligned with coverage needs; new graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: NovaCare in Owings Mills, MD

Schedule: PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri), some evenings until 7 PM

Compensation: $30.00 - $36.00 /hour

Our large team treats a diverse population and offers a variety of specialty services, including neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports, amputees, oncology (ReVital), pelvic health (CoreVia), FCEs, a Fall prevention and ACL program, and general orthopedics.

We have several outpatient locations throughout Baltimore and adjacent Carroll County open to steady part-time or as-needed/per diem coverage.
