Job summary

CORA Physical Therapy in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time, multisite float role. You will cover multiple Charlotte-area clinics, with opportunities to grow through our PTA to DPT pathway and education programs.

You will provide evidence-based PTA care under a supervising PT, progress patients, document care, and collaborate with a rehab team. New grads are welcome and relocation options may be available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a PTA license or be eligible for licensure.
• Outpatient setting experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment under supervision of a PT.
• Follow established treatment plans and progress patients.
• Document all patient care in EMR per CORA policy.
• Collaborate with rehab team and physicians.
• Support clinic operations and patient education.

Looking for a full-time float PTA who is willing to cover all 5 (or at least most) of the Charlotte clinics. Must be willing to get a compact license to treat in both NC and SC. Clinics include Harrisburg, Concord, Denver, Rock Hill, and Indian Land. Primarily would work out of Rock Hill.

What You'll Do

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at CORA, you'll:

• Make a powerful impact on your local community through inclusive physical therapy treatment.

• Provide physical therapy treatment to patients in accordance with an established treatment plan as directed by a Physical Therapist.

• Progress patients skillfully and safely through the levels of treatment within the maximum capabilities of the patient.

• Consult with supervising Physical Therapist regarding progress and changes in patient's condition.

• Document all treatment and other pertinent patient interaction in accordance with CORA policies.

• Provide relevant education to patient and family regarding home programs and activities.

• Develop and maintain effective communication with the patient, family and other members of the rehabilitation team.

What You'll Need

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.

• Licensed or license eligible as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
