Job Description

Medi Home Health, a division of Medical Services of America, Inc., is seeking an experienced full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for our Home Health patients in Newport News, VA.

• Provide physical therapy services to patients under appropriate guidelines and in accordance with the plan of treatment developed by the PT.
• Assist the physician in implementing and conducting treatment as outlined in the treatment plan.
• Monitor patient's response to treatment and modify treatment as indicated, reporting to the physician or client care manager.
• Develop, prepare, and maintain individualized client care progress records with accuracy and timeliness, following policies.
• Assist with interpreting and communicating evaluation findings to patients, family, and staff members.

Job Requirements

• Valid PTA license in the state of VA.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Minimum of one-year verifiable physical therapy experience.
• Home Health experience preferred.
