Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients in an in-facility setting, reporting to the Director of Rehab. You will implement physical therapy programs, follow established recovery plans, and deliver treatments that restore and enhance patients’ abilities.

You will address the whole patient, work collaboratively with a team, and refer when needed to ensure the patient receives comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the APTA.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy programs and activities and follow recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments and address the whole patient as an individual.
• Collaborate with peers and refer patients when needed to ensure optimal care.
• Restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities.
