Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed therapists in Santa Rosa, CA. You will assist with patient treatment, document progress, and help coordinate care with physicians and other staff within a clinical occupational medicine setting.

The role requires an accredited PTA program, state PTA licensure, and orthopedic experience with modalities. A collaborative team environment and commitment to compliant, patient-centered care are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in work state.
• Experience in an orthopedic setting with use of modalities, therapeutic exercises and isokinetic equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist by accepting patient(s) from his/her schedule.
• Execute the established treatment plan developed by Physical Therapist.
• Documents the actual treatment provided following process management guidelines.
• Performs delegated functions when PTA not at site as needed.
• Communicate with supervising PT and document authorizations in chart.
