Job summary

IHA in Fresno, CA is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to assist with procedures selected by the supervising physical therapist.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PTA program, current California PTA licensure (or within six months of hire), and current CPR. Excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff is essential.

One year of PTA experience and acute care exposure are preferred; pay range is $32.03–$44.83 per hour.

• Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
• Minimum of one year PTA experience preferred.

• Ability to relate professionally to patients, physicians, and staff with excellent customer service.

• Successful graduation from an accredited physical therapy assistant program (unless the Physical Therapy Examining Committee has provided a qualifying opinion on equivalent training and/or experience) is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant with the State of California is required. Exception may be made for Physical Therapy Assistant Licensed Applicant with a requirement to obtain licensure within six months of hire into position.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
• Minimum of one year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant is preferred.
• Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• Ability to utilize physical therapy equipment safely is required.
• Ability to relate in a professional manner to patients, physicians, the public and other health care providers while demonstrating excellent customer service is required.

Pay Range: $32.03-$44.83
