Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver Physical Therapy and related services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will ensure high-quality care and engage with patients and facilities while adhering to Reliant Rehabilitation’s standards and state regulations.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, supervising Rehab Technicians when applicable, and maintaining professional practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant state license.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients under the supervision of a licensed PT and support high-quality care.
• Develop and sustain a robust physical therapy program within the facility.
• Advance clinical and leadership skills through collaboration and continuing education.
• Maintain a current state PTA license and stay informed on PT developments.
• Understand and apply correct billing practices and regulatory standards.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols in the facility.
• Communicate effectively in English for documentation and care coordination.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with state practice acts.
