Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver high-quality therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will work with patients across diverse care communities and contribute to exceptional patient outcomes in a supportive clinical environment.

Based in Osage, Iowa, you will maintain licensure, participate in ongoing training, and follow safety and billing practices while advancing your professional skills through mentorship,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant state license.

Responsibilities

• Support patients in improving functional abilities under the guidance of a licensed PT.
• Contribute to the development and sustainability of a robust physical therapy program.
• Advance clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self-directed learning, and continuing education.
• Maintain a current and valid state license and stay informed on developments in physical therapy and healthcare.
• Understand and apply appropriate billing practices and treatment delivery models, ensuring care meets clinical and regulatory standards.
• Follow infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility.
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication and documentation
• Maintaining confidentiality as appropriate and ensuring compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.

Education
