Job summary

Vitruvian Health in the northwest Georgia region seeks a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to support patient care under a registered PT. You will assist in treatment for patients of all ages and complete required documentation, ensuring safety, accuracy, and compassionate service.

Candidates must complete an accredited PTA program and hold Georgia PTA licensure or be eligible. Strong communication, time management, and basic computer skills are preferred; weekend/holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited program for Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Licensure: Registered PTA, or eligible for license in the State of Georgia.
• Experience: May be a new graduate.
• Skills: BLS CPR.
• Ability to obtain and interpret information for age-specific patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a registered Physical Therapist, utilizes PT skills to assist in treatment of all referred patients of all age populations.
• Responsible for completion of all necessary documentation.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development and assess data related to patient age-specific needs.
