Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation is growing in Falls Church, VA and seeks licensed Physical Therapist Assistants to provide hands-on, one-on-one care in patients' homes under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You’ll guide exercises, adjust plans based on progress, document visits in FOX’s EMR, and collaborate with PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Fitness Specialists to support patient independence and functional goals.

This in-home role offers mentorship, clear growth paths, and a culture focused on geriatric care

Qualifications

• Valid PTA license in the state(s) ofpractice or eligibility to obtain
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR certification
• Basic computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized treatment plans established by supervising PT
• Instruct, motivate, and safeguard patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities
• Document visits accurately in FOX’s EMR system
• Stay connected with patients, POAs, and community referral sources, and help coordinate coverage when needed

Physical Requirements

• FOX PTAs must be able to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including:
• Exerting medium physical effort: lifting 25–50lbsoccasionally, 10–25lbsfrequently, and up to 10lbsconstantly
• Performing CPR
• Providing moderate to maximumassistancewith patient transfers and bed mobility, including repositioning a bed-bound patient alone
• Standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and extensive walking
• Performing repetitive movements of the upper extremities
• Driving to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model
• Wearing PPE whenrequired
