Job summary

Rehab Solutions is seeking a Part Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Home Health team serving the Arlington/Fort Worth, TX area. This role emphasizes flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful patient care.

As a PTA, you will implement treatment plans created by Physical Therapists, monitor patient progress, educate patients and families, and document treatments in the electronic health record. We offer a supportive clinician-led environment with a flexible schedule and W-2 or 1099 option.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficient with EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists; provide direct patient care with exercises and modalities.
• Monitor and document patient progress; report observations to the Physical Therapist and educate patients/families.
• Accurately document treatments, progress, and responses in accordance with policies and standards.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other staff to ensure coordinated patient care.

Requirements

• Education: Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.

• Patient Care: Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists. Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Treatment and Education: Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
• Documentation: Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
