Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state practicing.
• Associates degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current CPR certification and AED training.
• Minimum of 2 years outpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care and service.
• Progress the patient's plan of care established by the physical therapist.
• Document all treatment in patient charts and progress notes, discharge summaries, and related forms.
• Communicate with supervising PT regarding treatment plans and discharge decisions.
• Supervise rehabilitation aides and coordinate with clinical staff as needed.
