Job summary

Adoration Health in Salisbury, NC is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our home health team. The PTA delivers patient-centered care under supervision of a licensed PT, focusing on functional goals and recovery in the home setting.

This role offers 1:1 care, flexible scheduling, independent work with team support, and opportunities for growth within a growing company. A valid PTA license and BLS are required, with at least one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted PTA license in the practicing state.
• BLS certification or CPR as required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year of PTA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services planned and supervised by a PT in the patient’s home.
• Communicate progress and needs with the PT of record and secure adaptive equipment as needed.
• Assist in documenting treatment and billing per regulations and policies.
• Support patient and family education to maximize functional outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient's Plan of Treatment
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient's plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns
• Communicates patient's needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function. Incorporates the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing
• Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance state regulations
• A minimum of one year's work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
