Overview

Position:Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: 14813 N. Dale Mabry Tampa , FL 33618

Schedule: Full Time Mon - Fri 40 hrs/wk covering hours of operation from Mon-Thurs 7am-7pm, Fri 7am-6pm

Compensation: $25/hr - $30/hr. Starting hourly rate calculated by experience.

Incentives: $5,000 bonus. Indefinite student debt repayment option of $200/month

Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center has an immediate need for a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Work with a highly experienced team of 7 clinicians treating outpatient orthopedics, neuro, vestibular, hand therapy and dry needling. Experienced outpatient physical therapists and newly licensed physical therapist, APPLY! Mentoring available! Let's foster your growth!

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  • Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
  • College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
  • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
  • Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
  • CPR certification
