Job Opening: Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

JTC Home Health Inc. is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in the San Diego and Escondido area. We are a home health company dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients in the comfort of their homes.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans as established by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Help patients regain or improve their physical functioning and mobility through therapeutic exercises and other treatments.
• Instruct and educate patients and their families on proper use of assistive devices, home exercise programs, and home safety.
• Document patient progress, communicating any findings or changes back to the Physical Therapist and the interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment for patients.
• Actively monitor and manage your own schedule, confirming appointments and completing documentation in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current and valid California PTA license.
• CPR certification is required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in the San Diego and Escondido area.

Compensation

• Salary range: $70-$85 per hour, depending on experience and willingness to drive to more distant locations.
• Option to be hired as a W-2 employee or 1099 contractor.
