Job summary

Favorite Healthcare Staffing Inc. seeks a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a San Antonio orthopedic clinic on a full-time basis. The PTA works under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver physical therapy services according to the prescribed treatment plan.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8a–5p or 7a–4p, with hourly pay of $22–$30 plus a full benefits package. Texas licensure and graduation from an accredited PTA program are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Licensed to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services per the treatment plan.
• Work under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Physical Therapy Assistant is under the direct supervision of a physical therapist. The PTA is responsible for providing physical therapy services as determined by the Texas State Physical Therapy Practices Act, rules of practice, personal judgment (according to the PT code of ethics), and the department medical directors. Duties include following a treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist and ensuring that all aspects of the treatment plan are carried out concurrent with the medical protocols established.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Licensed in State of Texas
