Job description

In Home Rehab of Florida provides outpatient physical therapy to older adults in their homes throughout South Florida. We are specifically looking to fill a position in Davie / Hollywood and parts of Broward County. We are a Medicare Part B in-home practice, and we are seeking an experienced and passionate physical therapist to join our growing team. Our clinic primarily focuses on geriatrics, providing one-on-one care for our patients.

We offer competitive hourly rates, the flexibility to organize your own weekly schedule, and the autonomy to create meaningful and customized hour-long treatment sessions.

Our ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and time management skills to maximize patient outcomes.

This is a great opportunity for a physical therapist assistant seeking a different treatment model outside the clinic, a physical therapist already making home visits who wants to take on additional work, or a physical therapist looking for a high level of flexibility in their schedule. Responsibilities :

1. Evaluate and treat patients in their homes
2. Provide creative and individualized treatment sessions
3. Engage family and caregivers as needed, providing education, HEP, and DME recommendations
4. Thoroughly complete all documentation via WebPT
5. Maintain frequent communication with your supervisor and patient representative

Requirements :

1. Active FL License and Registration
2. Eligibility to work in the US
3. Ability to document per Medicare guidelines
4. Ability to document evaluations and treatment sessions in a timely manner
5. Ability to treat patients in the home independently, without an onsite supervisor
