Job summary

Nationwide Healthcare Services is seeking clinicians to join our rehabilitation departments across Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties. Full-Time, Part-Time and PRN positions are available to fit your schedule.

Under a physician’s order, you will provide direct resident treatment per an established plan of care, document services, and participate in quality improvement activities while ensuring compliance with Medicare regulations and privacy practices.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited program approved by their professional association.
• Current licensure by the applicable state agency.

Responsibilities

• Direct resident treatment under a physician’s order per an established plan of care.
• Provide excellent training for residents and caregivers.
• Document services provided within Rehab Optima on a timely basis.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
• Exhibit courtesy, compassion and respect to residents, families, caregivers, visitors, physicians, administrators, and co-workers.
• Participate in clinical program development and implementation.
• Contribute to team meetings and decision-making processes.
• Ensure service and operational excellence of all assigned activities.
• Participate in quality improvement activities as needed.

We have Full-Time, Part-Time and PRN positions available.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Under a physician’s order, provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care. Treatment modalities may include; individual, concurrent and group.
• Provide excellent training for residents and caregivers.
• Documents services provided within Rehab Optima on a timely basis.
• Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
• Exhibits courtesy, compassion and respect to residents, families, caregivers, visitors, physicians, administrators, and co-workers in each and every interaction.
• Demonstrates continuous new learning to remain current in the field.
• Complies with facility Privacy Practices policies and procedures to protect residents’ individual health information.
• Participates in clinical program development and implementation.
• Contributes to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program.
• Responsible for service and operational excellence of all assigned activities to ensure the delivery of quality outcomes.
• Participates in the training and orientation of other staff, students and volunteers.
• Participates in quality improvement activities as needed.
• May perform additional assigned administrative duties like: assigning and overseeing resident care activities, medical record oversight, assuring execution of physician orders, ordering supplies, etc.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduated from an accredited program approved by their professional association.
• Current licensure by the applicable state agency.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
