Orlando Sports Medicine Physical Therapy Clinics is a Physical Therapist owned private practice specializing in physical therapy services after surgery, orthopedic or related injuries. We operate three outpatient clinics in the Metro Orlando area, offering convenient access to specialized rehabilitation care. The team is dedicated to delivering unmatched customer service, expert clinical care, and outstanding outcomes for every patient. Position Description

This is a full-time, on-site Physical Therapist Assistant role based in our Altamonte Springs clinic. As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Orlando Sports Medicine, you will work closely with our Doctors of Physical Therapy and assist them in the treatment of their patients. Our approach is collaborative and relies on regular communication between the DPT and PTA. We utilize the most advanced Electronic Medical Record system in the industry which allows for seemless integration of care between clinicians. Our clinics are well-equipped with tools that include: Isokinetic dymamometers, blazepod reaction pods, MTrigger EMG system, Biodex balance systems and a variety of rehab strengthening equipment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have a solid understanding of Orthopedics to assist with post-surgical and musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation.
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and an active Florida PTA license (or eligibility to obtain) are required.
• Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team are essential.
• Previous outpatient or sports medicine experience is preferred, along with strong documentation and time-management skills.
