Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified physical therapy assistant to join our team in North Aurora, Illinois. You will work under the guidance of a physical therapist to support patient care and implement individualized treatment plans.

You will assist with therapy sessions, track patient progress, and maintain clear communication with the supervising PT and clinic staff to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA or eligible with appropriate certification.
• Ability to follow individualized plans of care created by Physical Therapists.
• Capable of working under supervision of a PT.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality treatment and contribute to excellent functional outcomes.
• Assist in developing and implementing treatment programs under a PT.
• Support patients through all phases of therapy and techniques.

As an Enhance Rehabilitation physical therapist assistant, working under the guidance of a physical therapist, you will be a part of growing team. In this role, you’ll assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists.

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
