Role Description

The Physical Therapist Assistant will support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering rehabilitation services to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and interventions, monitoring progress, and documenting care in accordance with clinic standards. The role also involves educating patients on home exercise programs, assisting with equipment setup, and maintaining a clean and safe treatment environment. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Queens, NY, requiring collaboration with the clinical team and reliable hands-on patient interaction throughout the workday.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Orthopedics and musculoskeletal conditions relevant to outpatient therapy.


• Active state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in New York.

• Capacity to follow treatment plans, take direction from supervising Physical Therapists, and work effectively in a team.
