Job summary

Napa Valley Physical Therapy Center, a member of Therapy Partners Group, is looking for a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant in Napa, CA. You will assist licensed physical therapists with patient care, develop plans, and implement therapies in a collaborative outpatient setting.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistance and current licensure or eligibility. Outpatient experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Outpatient experience welcomed but not required.
• Commitment to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with patients and implement prescribed exercises.
• Assist therapists in developing and applying treatment plans.
• Apply manual therapy, exercise prescriptions and modalities.
• Document patient progress in Raintree and report changes.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe care.

Pay: $40-$44 per hour depending upon experience Napa Valley Physical Therapy Center, a member of Therapy Partners Group, has been the premier provider for outpatient orthopedics servingNapa Countyand surrounding communities since 1952. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning:Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education:Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
