Job summary

Select Medical in Millbury, MA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This role provides high-quality patient care under a licensed PT, with a Monday–Friday schedule and options for PRN or part-time work.

Compensation ranges $30–$35 per hour, commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include delivering PT services per state guidelines, maintaining professional interactions with patients and staff, and supporting center operations.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)
• CPR Certification

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Our Select Physical Therapy outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide exceptional patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Central MA location. We have a strong relationship with area high school sports medicine programs, physican group and total joint program. We see a divers patient population including sports med, pre/post op and general ortho. Excellent mentorship available!
