Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Physical Therapist Assistant located in Mentor, OH. The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the direction of a licensed physical therapist to implement treatment plans focused on improving patients’ mobility, strength, and balance. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with patient exercises, documenting patient progress, and communicating with both the supervising therapist and patients to ensure effective treatment. Additional responsibilities include educating patients on home exercise programs and helping to maintain a safe and clean clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Ohio
• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and protocols
• Ability to assist with patient exercises and document progress
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
• Experience with balance and vestibular therapy is beneficial
