Peak Physical Therapy in Helena, MT is seeking a physical therapy assistant (PTA) to join a clinician-owned outpatient team. The PTA will provide hands-on care, develop treatment plans, and guide patients through recovery with autonomy and mentorship.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Peak Physical Therapy is a therapist-owned outpatient practice with two locations in Helena, MT, reinvigorated a few years ago when Anthony Purviance took ownership alongside co-owner Courtney, bringing fresh energy and dual-specialty mentorship in orthopedics and neurology to the practice. You get 40-minute sessions with no double-booking, unlimited CE funding, and up to $19,000 in fellowship and career investment on top of a competitive base, plus a caseload spanning ortho, neuro, sports, and vestibular care that few two-location practices can match. Compensation Package

This role pays $65,000-$96,200 a year. We take mentorship seriously, giving you the support to grow toward the upper end of that range. As you grow your caseload, you'll help more patients and earn more. You won't be figuring it out alone.

In addition we provide:

• $10,000 sign-on bonus

• Unlimited continuing education funds, plus a $500 travel stipend

• 17 days of PTO in year one, increasing with tenure

• $10,000 in tax-free student loan repayment over 5 years, paid monthly

• Relocation assistance available

What You'll Be Doing

Most of your day is spent directly with patients, planning and delivering hands-on care with the autonomy to treat the way you think is right. That includes:

• Hands-on interventions through manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and specialty modalities

• Teaching patients and their families about recovery, home exercise, and injury prevention

• Tracking progress and adjusting plans as patients progress

• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care

• Documenting in line with HIPAA and state and federal rules, using AI tools that cut down on paperwork instead of adding to it

• A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Associates from an accredited program

• Montana PTA license, or eligibility for one

Physical Requirements

You'll need to:

• Lift up to 50 pounds

• Stand, bend, reach, and use fine motor skills regularly
