Job summary

Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for our Greeley, CO clinic. You will work with a team of PTs to implement treatment plans, guide patient exercises, and monitor progress to support recovery and rehabilitation.

You will participate in care delivery, documentation, and patient education, contributing to a supportive clinic culture with growth opportunities and a strong incentive program.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited PTA program
  • State licensure or certification as PTA
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Proficient in assisting with therapeutic exercises and treatment modalities
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Detail-oriented with good documentation and reporting skills
  • Prior experience as PTA in a clinical setting
  • Familiarity with EMR systems

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the PT
  • Communicate with PTs on patient progress
  • Guide and instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and activities
  • Monitor and record patient progress and responses to treatments
  • Ensure and monitor caseload for attendance compliance
  • Aid in administering interventions such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation
  • Set up and maintain equipment for therapy sessions
  • Provide support during patient evaluations and assessments
  • Maintain accurate patient records and progress notes
  • Educate patients and families about exercises and home care routines
  • Collaborate with PTs and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights on progress

Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: 2015 Clubhouse Dr.Greeley, CO 80634
Schedule: Full Time (40 hours per week)

Salary & Incentives
  • Total Compensation Potential: $90,740+ with incentive structure
  • Base Rate: $28 - 32/hr
  • Sign On Bonus - $10,000
  • Monthly incentive bonus up to $2,500

About the Role

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at PRN, you will work closely with our team of physical therapists to provide high-quality care and assistance to patients. Your role will involve implementing therapeutic exercises, assisting with treatments, and ensuring patients receive the best possible care to aid in their recovery and rehabilitation.

Duties & Responsibilities
Patient Care:
  • Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist (PT).
  • Communicate with PTs on a regular basis regarding patient progress.
  • Guide and instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and activities.
  • Monitor and record patient progress and responses to treatments.
  • Ensure and monitor caseload to ensure patients are staying compliant with attendance.
Treatment Assistance:
  • Aid in administering therapeutic interventions such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and therapeutic exercises.
  • Set up and maintain equipment for use during therapy sessions.
  • Provide support during patient evaluations and assessments.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant documentation in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with the PT regarding patient progress and any changes in status.
Patient Education and Support:
  • Educate patients and their families about exercises, treatments, and home care routines.
  • Offer guidance on proper techniques and strategies for daily activities to promote recovery and prevent further injury.
Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate effectively with PTs and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights on patient progress and treatment effectiveness.
  • Participate in creating a positive environment/culture for the clinic, displaying positive attitude.
Skills & Qualifications
