Rancho Seco Care Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house therapy team. The PTA will assist licensed Therapists in helping residents recover from illness or injury, regain functional abilities, and improve balance, gait, and mobility after orthopedic events or medical recovery.
Responsibilities include documenting services for billing, following the Plan of Care, coordinating with other disciplines, and developing individualized therapy plans under supervision.
We are an in-house, close-knit therapy team who addresses patient needs and collaborates well with our IDT. Our team has a family feel and all members are appreciated, seen, and heard.

A PTA is responsible for assisting Physical Therapist in helping patients recover and rehabilitate from the effects of a serious illness, injury or medical event, regaining their own best possible level of functional ability, well-being and independence. Provides support services to improve strength and function, restore more efficient movement, improve flexibility and aid patients in restoring mobility and/or improving balance and gait after hip fractures and other orthopedic injuries, medical illness, or as they recover from joint replacement procedures.
