NOVO Rehabilitation in Enid, OK is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our faith-based therapy team. You will provide skilled PT services under a licensed PT, focusing on mobility, balance, and functional independence for geriatric residents.

Requirements include an accredited PTA degree, passing the NPTE, OK licensure, and a commitment to compassionate, team-oriented care. Tuition reimbursement is available for full-time employees.

Formación

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Pass the NPTE national exam to obtain licensure.
• Current, active licensure as a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant in OK.
• Maintain CEU credits as required by the state board.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsabilidades

• Provide PT services to residents under a licensed PT supervision.
• Coordinate with the supervising PT to align goals with patient needs.
• Implement care plans and document daily progress and outcomes.
• Complete progress notes and discharges per Medicare guidelines.

The Physical Therapy Assistant coordinates closely with the evaluating Physical Therapist while providing skilled treatment to patients in order to facilitate improved mobility, balance, and lower body strength to ensure the highest level of function is attained during their therapy stay.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services to residents in accordance with established standards of practice, company procedures, therapy department procedures, and productivity standards. while supervised under a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Coordinates with licensed Physical Therapist to ensure goals within plan of care reflect the individual patient's needs and personal goals to reach highest practical level and to facilitate safety within the environment.
• Implements the patient’s care plan to address all short/long-term goals under the evaluating therapist’s supervision.
• Completes required daily treatment notes, progress notes, and discharges in a timely manner to justify skilled necessity and to ensure best quality of care per Medicare guidelines.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
• Pass the state administered national exam (NPTE)
• Current, active licensure in the state of OK as a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant
• Uphold state required CEU’s in order to maintain good standing with the board
• Valid driver’s license and an automobile in good working condition with appropriate insurance coverage in accordance with state laws
