Reliant Rehabilitation in Chillicothe, OH is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver Physical Therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, ensuring high-quality care and meaningful engagement with patients and facilities.

You will implement treatment plans, maintain licensure, stay current with practice standards, and grow clinically through ongoing education and mentorship within Reliant’s supportive team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant state license.

Responsibilities

• Support patients under the guidance of a licensed PT.
• Develop and sustain a robust physical therapy program.
• Advance clinical and leadership skills through collaboration and continuing education.
• Maintain a current and valid state license and stay informed on developments in physical therapy and healthcare.
• Understand and apply appropriate billing practices and treatment delivery models, ensuring care meets clinical and regulatory standards.
• Follow infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility.

Responsibilities

This Physical Therapy Assistant delivers Physical Therapy and related services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT), ensuring high‑quality care and positive engagement with both clients and facilities. Services should align with the principles of physical therapy and adhere to Reliant Rehabilitation’s standards. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, supervising Rehab Technicians (as applicable), and managing patient cases. Maintain a professional demeanor that reflects Reliant Rehabilitation’s dedication to excellence in service and client relationships. Comply with all applicable state and federal regulations governing physical therapy practice.
