Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Physical Therapist Assistant role based in Boise, ID. The Physical Therapist Assistant will support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering individualized treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and functional training. Daily responsibilities include preparing treatment areas, assisting with patient evaluations, implementing prescribed interventions, monitoring patient progress, and documenting care in accordance with clinic standards. The role also involves educating patients about home exercise programs, promoting injury prevention, and collaborating with the clinical team to ensure safe, effective, and efficient care. The Physical Therapist Assistant is expected to maintain a professional, empathetic approach while contributing to a positive clinic culture.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Candidates should possess skills in Patient Care and Quality Patient Care, demonstrating empathy, clear communication, and attention to patient safety and outcomes.
• Candidates should possess knowledge and practical skills in Orthopedics, including musculoskeletal conditions, spine care, and sports-related injuries.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligibility) in the state of Idaho, and graduation from an accredited PTA program.
• Strong documentation skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to follow clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, manage time effectively, and support a patient-centered, active lifestyle-focused clinic mission.
