Job summary

Bainbridge Island Rehabilitation in WA is a post-acute care facility seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant for its in-house rehab program. This role is based on Bainbridge Island, WA, with a focus on geriatric care and a collaborative, in-house therapy team.

The PTA will work under a Physical Therapist, applying evidence-based practices, delivering rehabilitative treatments, and supporting patients and families through the recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required
• New Grads are welcome!

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and supportive device use, under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.

Bainbridge Island Rehabilitation in WA is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistantfor our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
