FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Alpena, MI is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing outpatient team. You will provide patient care under licensed PTs, implement individualized treatment plans, and help patients improve mobility and balance using advanced rehab technology.

Qualifications

• Licensed (or license-eligible) PTA in Michigan.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Outpatient experience preferred; motivated new graduates welcome.
• Interest in orthopedic, balance, vestibular, and neurological rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists.
• Implement individualized treatment plans for orthopedic, vestibular, neurological, and geriatric patients.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, balance, strength, and functional independence.
• Utilize advanced rehabilitation technology to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Document patient care using EMR and AI-assisted tools.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with therapists and support staff to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
• Participate in community outreach and wellness initiatives.

Qualifications

• Licensed (or license-eligible) Physical Therapist Assistant in Michigan
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
