Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to help patients regain strength after illness, injury, or surgery. You will assess needs, create personalized plans, and collaborate with physicians to achieve meaningful outcomes.

You will deliver evidence-based interventions, monitor progress, educate patients and families, and work across disciplines to ensure seamless recovery. Mentoring therapists and upholding our values are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans with physicians and the care team.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions that restore movement and reduce pain.
• Monitor progress, refine therapy plans, and document outcomes accurately.
• Educate patients and families on exercise programs and safe practices to promote independence.
• Collaborate across disciplines for cohesive patient-centered care and smooth transitions.
• Mentor therapy assistants or students while upholding our values of excellence, compassion, and integrity.
