Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a Full time Physical Therapist to join its team. You will render professional and technical physical therapy to assigned patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide the best care.

The Physical Therapist I will evaluate, plan, implement, and discharge patients in accordance with the Practice of Physical Therapy Act/Rules. The role requires Texas licensure or temporary license, Basic Life Support, and a minimum of 1 year licensed PT

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate).
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required.
• Texas license or temporary license required for practice.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist 1 responsibility is to render professional and technical physical therapy to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the Practice of Physical Therapy Act/Rules process (evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, ongoing re-assessment and discharge planning).

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Physical Therapy
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Required - Valid Texas License or Temporary License
• 1 year Licensed PT but will consider new graduates
