Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a Physical Therapist I to join a multidisciplinary team delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced, technically advanced hospital setting. The role focuses on evaluation, treatment planning, and ongoing reassessment, with collaboration across therapy and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes and the patient experience.

You will provide direct and indirect physical therapy under the Practice of Physical Therapy Act/Rules.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Texas license or temporary license to practice physical therapy is required.
• At least 1 year of licensed physical therapy experience.

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Physical Therapist 1 responsibility is to render professional and technical physical therapy to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the Practice of Physical Therapy Act/Rules process (evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, ongoing reassessment and discharge planning).

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Physical Therapy
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Required Valid Texas License or Temporary License
• 1 year Licensed PT
