Education and Experience
- Graduate of an APTA‑accredited school of physical therapy
Computer Skills
- Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation
- Basic internet navigation skills
Certificates and Licenses
- Valid state physical therapist license
Responsibilities
- Optimize patient functionality and skills by providing, directing, and/or overseeing physical therapy
- Provide consultation and clinical supervision to PTAs and rehab techs
- Directly supervise PTA and rehab tech during group and individual treatment, promoting efficient resource utilization and professional development in line with state practice acts, OBRA, and company policy
- Build a strong physical therapy program
- Enhance clinical, professional, and management skills through mentorship, self‑study, and continuing education
- Maintain a valid state license and stay informed about professional and healthcare issues
- Understand payment models, billing, and treatment guidelines, and provide quality care with appropriate goals and outcomes
- Comply with infection control procedures and environmental safety protocols
- Communicate effectively in English – read, write, speak, and comprehend instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports
Qualifications
Experience, education, computer proficiency, certifications, and licenses as described above. Candidates must possess a valid state license for physical therapy.
