Job summary

Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a Physical Therapist for a PRN daytime role. You will design and adapt goal-oriented care plans with patients and families to support individual recovery journeys.

You will deliver hands-on physical therapy using evidence-based techniques to improve mobility, alleviate pain, and restore independence. You will evaluate progress and mentor therapy assistants to uphold clinical excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's or Doctorate degree preferred.
  • BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire is required; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Physical Therapist license credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision before hire date or during transition period.

Responsibilities

  • Design and adapt goal-oriented care plans with patients and families to align with personal recovery milestones.
  • Deliver hands-on physical therapy treatments using evidence-based techniques to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore independence.
  • Continuously evaluate patient progress to refine clinical approaches and ensure effective, responsive care.
  • Lead and mentor therapy assistants and students to foster a collaborative environment focused on clinical excellence and high-quality outcomes.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Physical Therapy (PT) credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Physical Therapist temporary letter will be accepted until license is issued.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
