Job summary

Sports Medicine Oregon in Tigard, Oregon is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to lead patient care initiatives and collaborate with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional rehabilitation services.

You will evaluate conditions, develop treatment plans, conduct assessments, and maintain EMR records while educating patients and caregivers. This role requires Oregon licensure and a DPT.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current Oregon State Physical Therapy license.
• Valid CPR certification.
• APTA certification preferred.
• Proven clinical experience in physical therapy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' conditions and develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Perform detailed physical therapy assessments and document patient progress
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols
• Supervise and coordinate with Physical Therapist Assistants and support staff
• Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems
• Communicate treatment plans and progress with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Develop and adjust therapeutic exercise programs based on patient needs
• Provide patient and caregiver education regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols
